Ruth C. Hauswirth specializes in eDiscovery, document retention and information governance counseling and is also the director of Cooley's litigation and eDiscovery services department. Ruth developed and oversees Cooley's electronic discovery resources and focuses on the strategic use of legal and technology solutions to handle electronically stored information in complex litigation matters - including document retention and management, preservation, collection, review and production in compliance with a variety of regulatory and jurisdictional areas. She also serves on Cooley's risk management committee where she is involved in the creation and implementation of risk management policies, training and compliance programs.
