I love the nexus between law and technology. It’s my goal to find ways to help our attorneys and clients leverage technology proactively to increase efficiency in litigation.

Ruth C. Hauswirth, special counsel and head of litigation & e-discovery in Cooley’s litigation department, focuses on and oversees Cooley’s e-discovery, information retention and governance counseling practice. Ruth leads Cooley's litigation and e-discovery services department and resources, which focuses on providing the strategic and efficient use of legal technology and data analytics solutions to handle electronically stored information in complex litigation matters - including evidence preservation, collection, review and production, through trial. Ruth also advises clients on enterprise information and record retention, disposition, and governance, including functional policy development, implementation and compliance in a variety of regulatory and jurisdictional areas.
